Bowhunting in Finland

Finland is a very interesting destination for any bowhunter, as our law allows hunting of all deer, wildboar, mouflon, beaver and small game with a bow. Only moose and large predators are not allowed to hunt with a bow. A Hunters draw weight must be more than 180 N (41+ pounds) and when hunting for deer or beaver the broadhead must have a cutting diameter of 22mm or more. Hunting with a crossbow is not allowed.

In Finnhunting we have some areas reserved only for bowhunting and many of our highseats are positioned and equipped so that bowhunters can use them. For bowhunters the main target animals would be roe deer and whitetail deer.
